The grocery store has advent calendars out, which I didn't really think about aside from 'oh, I want an advent calendar' and only later did I remember it's September.

In the spirit of daily surprises, however, I decided I'll just give myself something every day. Except instead of acquiring new things, I'll just partake of something I own that I've at least mostly forgotten about or never gotten around to.

So far I've watched (and regretted) an entire anime series, Fractale, and then a loose disc of the Monster Musume OVAs... I have Earl & Fairy in right now which I've seen and like but I certainly don't recall picking up the DVDs. Tomorrow, since I won't have finished Earl & Fairy, I'll go with a book or comic. I think there's a mound of Robotech comics up on the shelf but they could actually be L* or something else.

From now until Xmas, or I run out of things, or I collapse under the weight of media I wish to experience, there will be adventures. And probably bits of regret.

Well I finally finished moving all of my entries over. In the meantime ~~in the moment~~ that's been happening I've been compiling lists of various animes, mangas, games etc. to write about and because of that I once again found myself screaming about fourth beat. With the schedule I've currently written for myself I probably won't get around to writing about the anime for awhile but it's REALLY tempting (I can still bend the rules tho so who knows I might). I'm even desperate for the compilation films to come out 'cause that might be the only anime content we get for awhile. I can't see Antagonistic Quarter coming out this year unless it's streamed online like Vibrato, but even then things aren't that certain.

So all in all I'm still eager to wait, but I have to not think about it too much or I'll go insane. The brainrot seems to be coming in strong though.

Update: I'm gonna do it (probably next week tho)

Things are chugging along. I wish I visited DW as much as I used to, but I'm just kept so damn busy these days.

I'm settling slowly into my new job, which I enjoy. The work is the same as it's always been, it's just a new cast of people, a new environment, and a new boss who is very needy and very fixated on getting every last massage covered when someone calls in sick or something, so he is always pestering me.

The weather switched from hot to cold on September 1st like someone flipped a switch, which is pretty cool and not at all what I'm used to. It feels like autumn and we've already picked up a few Halloweenish things to decorate the apartment with.

I wish I had more to talk about. I wish I could kickstart my creativity so that I could write something. Most of all, I wish I could finally feel like I've settled into a relaxed routine so that I can just. Do the things I used to do! Hopefully soon.

One thing that hasn't changed is that I've been keeping up with fun foods to try. Y'all know I love to try limited edition fun flavors of things. I tried the Reese's Oreos and the Oreo Reese's (reminiscent to the team-up Oreo did with Coke, when they released Coke flavored Oreos and Oreo flavored Coke). I also found the new(ish) ice cream sundae flavored A&W cream soda. It takes like chocolate fudge and vanilla ice cream, it's really good! I've also picked up the limited Baconator Cheez-its. Mm-mm.
