Title: Be Our Guest
"Ness, don't make the teacups dance," ordered his mother as the cup floated inches from her head, swaying in vague time to a tonedeaf rendition of 'Be Our Guest'.
"I'm Mrs Potts and Chip. You can be the Beast," explained the small boy.
"You'll see me turn into a beast if you break my good chinaware."
"But mom, I'm getting good at this now!"
"Getting good isn't good enough. Go and practice on other, less breakable things."
Sometimes she wondered what life would be like with a normal child who couldn't reproduce animated movie special effects in the real world.
