Out in the endless murky dusk, he could still hear the wailing of the Littles. Their tormented whispers still haunted him, as if carried on a permanent chill breeze that only he could feel. Their eyes and mouths were round black pits like large plug sockets filled with vortices of swirling energy, wild and dangerous.
The pain of an Ultimate Goddess. He'd created these things, trapped it inside them, without truly knowing what he was doing, and now he'd have to destroy them again, these innocents.
He wished he had at least not made them look so much like babies.
