"I heard there was an intruder on this level. Is everything okay? Did anyone manage to spot anything?"

 

"Oh... oh..." Papyrus raised his hand and started talking in that high-pitched, nasal voice of his, the stupid grin plastered on his face (to be fair on him, he was a skeleton). Undyne sighed and clenched her fists. This was going to be a bad one.

 

"I heard they came INTRUDER hole in the ground!" Papyrus cackled at his own joke.

 

Undyne rolled her eyes and pointedly ignored the rest of his puns, "Did you see anything, Sans?"

 

The smaller skeleton snorted, "Uh? Wh... I'M NOT ASLEEP, CAPTAIN, SIR!" Sans stood up and saluted.

 

"I'm dreading the answer," Undyne sighed, "But I'll go ask the dogs."

 

Doggo, of course, hadn't seen anything move. A few things had been spotted not moving but they clearly weren't there, otherwise they'd move. 

 

Undyne gave up trying to distract Dogamy and Dogaressa from making out in front of her for five seconds.

 

After the Lesser Dog was found with his head literally in the clouds and couldn't get it back down again, so she spent an hour trying to unravel the neck, Undyne gave up asking.
