The month's rent firmly held in his hand, Babbitt smirked at his uncomfortable tenants. "Always a pleasure doing business with you boys," he sneered, turning and making his exit.
As the door slammed behind the landlord, Micky fixed it with a grimace. "Come back anytime and darken our door again," he growled.
To his shock, the door popped back open again. He recoiled at Babbitt's angry glare.
"What did you say, Dolenz," he muttered, eyes narrowed.
"Uh...nothing! Nothing at all," Micky grinned, swallowing fearfully.
"I hope you weren't sassing me--or you might be singing at your own funeral!"
