"Why didn't you just park the TARDIS up there," I asked. "This is such a hike!"
"Because there's not enough room for her," the Doctor replied. "Come on; it's not much further."
We'd been clambering up a stony hill for at least ten minutes. While the Doctor seemed hardly winded, I was worn out, and frustrated.
At last, we reached the crest of the hill--and the most incredible meteor shower I'd ever seen. It looked like every star in the universe was falling.
The Doctor grinned at my awe. "The most precious things are worth a little extra effort."
