Summary: "Oh, sweetie, you didn't have to do that," River grinned.
"Merry Christmas," the Doctor cheered from the other side of the bars. "I come bearing gifts!"
He did, at that. Clad in a Santa Claus suit, he was weighted down by a pile of Christmas presents. Each was wrapped in gleaming paper, festooned with gigantic bows.
"Oh, sweetie, you didn't have to do that," River grinned. She looked him over, winking. "What's under that suit is all the present I need."
He grinned back for a moment before the implications struck. Then he nervously shoved the gifts through the bars of River's cell, retreating to the safety of the TARDIS.
