Summary: Jim shrugged, taking a seat next to him at the bar.
“So, what’s been going on out there, anyway,” Arnie asked over his beer as Jim strolled in.
Jim shrugged, taking a seat next to him at the bar. Reaching across its surface, he snagged a bottle of whiskey and a glass. “Not too sure,” he replied, pouring. “I stopped watching the news a while ago.”
“Same, here.” Carefully easing his way around the shattered glass that littered the floor, Arnie stepped behind the bar, refilling his beer under the tap. “Seems like they always say the same thing, anyway. More bombs dropping, more people dying. Sounds like a revolution, maybe.”
