The mad and bad and dangerous girl
Comes out just when the darkest shadows unfurl
Driven there by the wild, unreasoning desire
To have the grim sustenance that her life requires
On the streets she walks, to lure prey in
Making them dream of foulness and sin
Then feeds upon their rich and hot blood
Leaving their husks behind as less than the mud
Then vanishing away before the coming of dawn
Blink and you'll miss her; she's that quickly gone
But you'd better stay clear; or be careful, at least
For you'd never wish to become her next feast
