Summary:
An: Written for the anythingdrabble prompt: Toe
To say Ray was having a bad day would be an understatement. First, he stubbed his toe walking to the bathroom. Then, he realized he had forgotten to do laundry and had to wear one of the shirts his mom bought him and it had buttons (honest to God buttons) and you couldn’t be a Chicago Hard Guy while wearing a shirt with buttons.
He walked into the police station and saw Fraser and Dief at his desk. He leaned down and ruffled Dief’s fur, his day got a little better.
He stood up and Fraser looked at him. ‘Are you all right? You seem less energetic than usual.’ Fraser said as he took off his hat and sat it on Ray’s desk.
‘Yeah. Yeah. Just having a bad day.’
‘Oh dear. Would a kiss make you feel better? When I was a child my mother would give me a kiss on the forehead when I was having a difficult day.’
Ray grinned. He had never been kissed by a friend, but maybe it was a Canadian thing. ‘Go for it.’
Fraser moved close and his lips brushed against Ray’s forehead and he caught the scent wool and leather coming from Fraser. His lips were surprisingly soft and warm against Ray’s skin and he wished he could feel Fraser’s lips against his own, but guessed not even Canadian’s kissed their friends on the lips.
‘Are you feeling any better?’ Fraser asked as he moved his lips off Ray’s forehead.
‘Yep. All good.’
Fraser rubbed that back of his neck looking nervous.
‘I was wondering… that is to say… would you like more kisses in the hallway closet?’
Ray’s eyes went wide and then he grinned. ‘Sure! That sounds great!’
His day was definitely looking up, what with kissing Fraser lips.
