Outside the casino, Spike lit a cigarette, watching a wildly disoriented crowd flee the building.
Buffy and Willow walked out last, approaching him. “This is the third casino we’ve cleansed. Evil’s definitely afoot in Vegas,” said Buffy.
Willow nodded. “The glamor is the same, but the vessel changes every time. First the jelly shots, then the slot machines, now the dice at the craps table.”
“Who would gain from trapping all these people in a time-distortion glamor around gambling games?” asked Spike.
Buffy shrugged. “We don’t know yet. But we gotta find the source before Vegas forgets what time is.”
