Those who were closest to him did their best to dodge his gaze. To swiftly make their way further along the street, or to cross it when they needed to. Any who were further off settled for staring at the peculiarly rambling man, feeling themselves to be at a safe distance.
"I am your expergefactor," he declared, continuing his diatribe. "Let go of your illusions, of your pretensions to glamor and elegance! Be ashamed of your vulgar displays!"
