Precis practiced in front of the mirror, wearing the costume to help her completely fall into character. All interruptions were unwelcome - she seemed self conscious as well as annoyed at losing her concentration, as though something very private was being interrupted. These complex, intense new emotions developing into the girl who thought of herself as a machine, strong and useful but ultimately lifeless, told Colette how important the role of 'Klonoa' was to Precis.
She was practicing having an identity, a viewpoint, a personality. Once she'd mastered being Klonoa, she'd work on the tougher, more multi-faceted role of Precis.
