Zelda gazes at the Secret Stone cupped in her hands, readying herself.
So many tears have fallen in Hyrule, recently. Enough to choke the entire kingdom. Link is all that stands between the land and its destruction. He alone can save everyone.
But he's far off in the future. And the Master Sword is here, in Zelda's keeping. Damaged beyond all usefulness. In no state to save even a small bird.
Draconification might be a forbidden practice, as Mineru warned. But Zelda sees no alternative. Only she can restore the Sword, and it will take longer than a Hylian lifespan.
