Lissa paused at the end of the hallway, peeking in both directions before feeling entirely confident that nobody was going to spot her. Oh, they might know it had been her doing later, and that was fine, but surprises (and pranks, and this was kind of both) didn't need spoiling.
Now she just had to make it down one more hallway without making any noise, not to mention through that little open part by the courtyard but surely nobody would be out this time of night and-
"Do you need any assistance with that?"
Where had Frederick even come from?!
