The first time Dogi found out that the lost continent of Ys really existed, and could actually float, was when the most important man in his life re-appeared along with the entire land mass that suddenly descended from the storm-laden clouds. He had been gone for days after vanishing in a column of bright light from a crumbling demon-infested tower.

 

That was the kind of man Adol was. He turned everything in heaven and Earth on its head. Dogi counted himself lucky to be the one who he always returned to, who was chosen to follow him wherever he went.
