As a werewolf, Derek had a good sense of smell. His mother had smelled like the forest and moonlight. Paige had had the scent of wood.
Then there was Stiles. He had a strong spicy scent that was familiar but Derek couldn’t place it.
One day, he kissed Stiles and Stiles melted into his embrace.
After they kissed, he buried his nose in Stiles’ neck and breathed in. Suddenly he realized that the smell was the same as the cinnamon cereal he had eaten as a kid. It reminded of happiest and home. Afterward Stiles became his home and happiest
