Lancelot woke to the faint draft of the covers being lifted and weight on the other side of the bed.
He wasn't sure he'd been asleep for very long, and as he rolled to first collide with and then curl against Siegfried, Lancelot wasn't sure that it mattered.
"Everything is okay," Siegfried said softly as he ran a hand through Lancelot's hair.
"Good," Lancelot murmured. Siegfried was warm and smelled like soap and the other details of things could wait until morning.
Siegfried was there. That was all that Lancelot was concerned with.
Close, warm, he settled back to sleep.
