Things were different, but Azazel still was not going to blindly trust the humans and he would kill any he needed to, if it came to it. He supposed he hoped it wouldn't.
But he'd told Lucifer how he felt and that was enough. And then he'd turned and left, because what else was he going to do.
Lucifer was going to go back to his current book until he needed to set it aside and one snapped comment was not enough-
-not when he caught Lucifer's whispered words-
"Don't get caught."
