Lancelot took a deep breath and looked around his quarters. The space was far from perfect, but it didn't look terrible, either. Things were on shelves or in drawers. His bed was made. Laundry had gone out, fresh air had come in, and he felt pretty good about everything.
And his paperwork was done and stacked neatly, too, though that had been first. He was as caught up with himself as Lancelot thought he could get.
Now, he just had to wait to show Vane everything that he'd managed.
Lancelot smiled. He'd probably have to make his bed again, too.
