Giovanni leans toward the radio, listening intently.
So. His team wants him back. That's strangely comforting. They don't hold his defeat in Kanto three years ago against him; they want him to lead them again. The people in his employ have such faith, both in his strength, and in their ability to bring him back to the fold.
Giovanni's own confidence, however, is shaken. What happened was a lesson in humiliation. A beautiful criminal enterprise, being shattered at the hands of a mere child...it's demeaning.
Perhaps Team Rocket can be reborn, the upper hand regained.
But perhaps isn't enough.
