From her desk, Buffy saw Principal Wood walk a mom and son out of his office with a sour face, so she flashed him a tentative smile when he turned around. “Tough kid?”
“Security cameras caught him and his gang repeatedly breaking into the school at night and vandalizing the property, but the families refuse to cover the damage,” he said. “There are currently three bathroom stalls and two vending machines out of order because of their latest incursion and the other students are in revolt. I’ve dealt with difficult kids before, but never like this.”
