Half startled by a clattering noise from the kitchen, Giles shifted on the couch, adjusting the towel he’d placed over his eyes.
“Spike? What are you doing?” he asked, without bothering to lift his head.
“Making tea,” he said. “Thought you might fancy a cuppa. And perhaps use the tea bags for your eyes. They’re s’posed to be good.”
Giles let out a sigh. “I doubt tea bags can do much for magic-induced blindness.”
“And what are the healing properties of a wet towel instead?” Spike countered.
“Milk no sugar, please,” Giles muttered, hoping that Buffy would be back soon.
