Estelle apologised profusely for any disruption to the casino's business and thanked them when they still handed over the agreed mission reward. They turned the corner, out of sight of the casino's security staff, before the Bracer swung her staff around, hard and fast enough to stop Olivier in his tracks. Had he continued walking, he would probably have broken several ribs, but his reflexes were surprisingly sharp considering how much the fool had probably drank already.
"Are you out of your Aidios-damned MIND? I asked for a diversion, not to get us thrown out!" she hissed between her teeth.
"Ah, but nobody was removed, were they? And I acted perfectly within the rules of the match. Psychological warfare is not cheating."
"Molesting your competition is! And it's outside the boundaries of basic decency, not to mention probably illegal!"
"A friendly blow into the ear is by no means molestation!"
"By your standards, maybe, you degenerate..."
"Please could you leave it, for everyone's peace of mind?" Joshua's forehead was running with sweat, "We completed our mission, we were paid, we never really expected a straightforward job..."
"Hmph," Estelle glowered, "We shouldn't even be taking jobs involving gambling at our age!"
