Spike turned his head when the door to his crypt creaked open.
“Please, come in,” he said, while Buffy walked inside nonchalantly.
“Dawn finished her history essay,” she explained, handing him the paper.
He arched his eyebrow. “So?”
“She asked me to proofread it, but I’m… kinda rusty with school stuff.”
Spike smirked. “While I am fresh out of school.”
“She said you helped her with her summer assignments. Please?”
He took the paper with a huff. “When is this due?”
“Tomorrow.”
“A’right, I’ll save this paper from her butchered grammar.”
“Thanks. Stop by tonight? With… the essay.”
“Will do.”
