"If they don't get tired of this before dinner, I'll put an end to it," Vane said when Mordred sat down beside him at the edge of their makeshift camp.
"It is getting everything set up quickly," Mordred replied. He glanced over to where Arthur and Henry had roped a few other trainees into their ridiculous set-up race. "And they're doing it all correctly, too."
"That's part of why I haven't stopped them yet." Vane grinned. "They'll learn what they need to when they-"
-both crashed into the same tree while hanging clotheslines.
Mordred flinched. Vane sighed.
Then came laughter.
