Buffy and Dawn watched Spike put the finishing touches to the snowman for baby Joyce, who cooed in her mother’s arms.
“And this is the same Spike who rolled into Sunnydale years ago, vowing to kill you?” asked Dawn, cradling her daughter.
“Oh, he is. His priorities changed, that’s all.”
“It’s done!” he announced. “And snowflakes are falling again. Come over, it’s the perfect time for a picture!”
Later, they sat in the kitchen sipping hot chocolate.
“Joyce will love this, thank you,” said Dawn, looking at the Polaroid.
Spike smiled. Would he ever get used to having a family?
