Summary: Chandler regarded Joey's meal prep.
It was the sound of clattering that drew Chandler out of the cozy dimness of his comfortable bedroom, and into the harsh light of the kitchen.
He discovered Joey hard at work with pots, pans, cutting boards, and various articles of food.
"Uh, Joe, correct me if I'm wrong," he yawned, "but isn't it a little late to be messing around in here?"
"Sorry, I woke you, man." Joey made short work of chopping a carrot, before throwing it into a pan to sauté. "I woke up hungry, so I decided to make a midnight snack to tide me over until breakfast." Next, he turned his attention to pouring rice and chicken stock into a pot, and setting it to simmer.
Chandler regarded Joey's meal prep. "Only you could turn a midnight snack into a multicourse meal. And still only refer to it as a 'snack'. By the time you're done eating everything, you won't have room for breakfast when you get up."
At that, Joey let out a chuckle. "Oh, trust me, Chandler; I'll make room."
"Well, if anyone I've ever met is likely to be a human bottomless pit, I guess you'd be the man for the job."
