Summary: For once, they can be out in the open and not condemned.
"PARTY OVER HERE!" Mikey said, springing from the shadows.
Leonardo grasped the ridge of his brother's shell and yanked him back into the alley. "Mikey, are you crazy?! You can't go out there with all those people!"
"You know he's crazy, Leo," Raph said, rubbing Mikey's green dome. "We all know he's crazy."
"But, Leo," Mikey cried, "they're all about love! They'll accept us!"
"Love is a multi-faceted theory, Michaelangelo -- "
As his brothers tuned into Donatello's speech, Mikey wiggled free and sprang once more out of the shadows. This time, he ran fast enough that his brothers could not catch him without exposing themselves and was soon marching along some of the other guys.
"Hey, sick costume, dude!"
Mikey grinned. "Thanks! My brothers didn't think you'd appreciate it!"
Three turtles smacked their own heads and groaned, but when Michelangelo continued to march along in the parade with no harm coming to him, they slowly began to reconsider. "Maybe they are more accepting," Leo mused. "Is that possible, Donnie?"
"I'LL BE DAMNED!" Raphael suddenly screeched. "LOOK WHO IT IS! YOU'RE NEVER LIVING THIS ONE DOWN, CASEY!"
"Aw, shit! Well, come on, you greenbacks!"
One by one, the others slipped into file.
