Written for the anythingdrabble prompt: shelter
Growing up, Cobb never felt safe. He and his Mama were slaves owned by a man who’s temper was as fiery as his red hair. He might have fathered Cobb, but he was no father. Barron Hux died during a slave revolt and Cobb always thought that that was too good of a death for him.
He never felt safe which was why he was determined to protect Freetown; he had the scars and robotic arm to show for it.
Now, he was laying in bed and was sheltered by Din’s body pressed against him and he felt safe.
