"Yeah, but I only killed six people. In a contest with only a rough outline of some rules and none of it strictly said 'no killing'," said Odie, "Don't get me wrong, I'd kill more if I had half a chance..."
"No, you ain't borrowin' the Gatlin'. Ah've only got the one. Go git yer own."
"What I meant, is I don't understand why I'm needed here. I can't conquer or destroy the Universe or whatever, I'm not a... a creepy bird God like Odeo! I probably couldn't even steal a Gatling Gun!"
"Not with that attitude you can't!"
"What our friend is trying to say," Ou Di Wan Lee called over to them, "Is that the criteria for being a Child of Odio are as, eh, rough, as the rules of said competition. We all have our uses, our... specialities. We're suited to our times and their unique struggles. And you have spirit. Once you truly embrace Odio in your soul, that's where the power comes from!"
