In general, he likes Melanie Bush well enough, despite meeting her under some decidedly peculiar circumstances. She's a bright girl, and she certainly has courage and gumption. Her bouncy, cheery personality is a marked contrast to Peri--who, though he's sorry that he never got to bid her a proper farewell, sometimes made him think of a frightened sheep.
He's glad to have met Mel. But he gets perfectly sufficient exercise while dealing with his enemies, thanks very much! Starting him on a workout regimen...nothing could be more preposterous!
