Title: 'Hanky-Panky'
Fandom: Friends
Characters: Joey Tribbiani, Rachel Greene, Phoebe Buffay
Word Count: 200
Rating: G
Notes: Spoilers for 'The One Where Ross Dates a Student'
Summary: Rachel remained unmoved.
Joey stood back, watching as the little apartment debate continued.
"Rach, you really need to move back in with Monica," Phoebe pleaded. "I love that woman, but I really don't want to end up murdering her. The whole reason why I moved into my grandma's place was because I couldn't take how uptight Monica is about being messy!"
Rachel remained unmoved. "Yeah. I know. Why do you think I keep telling you no?!"
"But I lived with her before you did, so I know better."
"Pheebs, I literally grew up with her!"
"I'd love to help you ladies," Joey interrupted, "but both rooms are already used. Unless maybe one of you might want to...I don't know...move into my room?" He honestly couldn't believe that neither of them had thought it up, themselves; it was the perfect solution.
Her eyes widening with enthusiasm, Phoebe pointed at him. "Yeah! And you can sleep on the couch!"
"Uh, Phoebe," Rachel cautiously warned, "I think Joey means that one of us could share his bed. With him. And that setup's just a little too perfect for hanky-panky."
"If either of you wanted hanky-panky, I wouldn't say no," Joey innocently responded.
