Summary: Boil checks on the chickens
Plotting:
The egg is a speckled blue. Boil stares, a soft smile spreading over his face. He’s not sure who’s going to be more excited about the chickens finally laying eggs: Numa or Waxer. Maybe he can find a way to have them find it at the same time? They’ll also have to comm Wooley and let him know the chicken named after him had an egg first. Plotting he makes his way back into the house. Waxer smiles at him from the stove. Boil hugs him from behind. Waxer leans into him asking, “Eggs?”
“It’s a surprise.”
“Numa,” Waxer agrees.
