"Doggone it!" Mike stomped into the Pad, rummaging around in the icebox.
"What's the matter," Davy asked, growing worried when he saw his roommate pull out an ice pack. "Are you alright?!"
Mike winced as he held the ice pack to his head. "It's been one thing after another today. First, I couldn't find my hat. Then, I ran outta change for the machines at the laundromat. Then, the washin' machine broke down. And then I got smacked in the head with one of the dryer doors."
Davy let out a low whistle. "It's just one of those days, then."
