"Oh, sure, you can," Mike muttered from behind a magazine. "You were born out here in California; you know it gets hotter than this. Now, hush up, and get us both some popsicles outta the icebox. That's if you can do it without meltin' into a puddle on the way over there."
"Humph!" Micky reluctantly rose, doing as he was told. "Some people just aren't capable of feeling any sympathy for others. Cherry or grape?"
