When Zeke finally found him, Casey was crouching on the ground, curled up like a ball, covered in a slimy mess. For a horrible moment, he stiffened in every movement until a slight sobbing reached his ear. „She's dead!“
Zeke shuddered. „I know! Are you okay?“
„Dunno.“
„What...?“
„I cannot see. She... when she died, she spread all her larva right into my face.“ Casey started to tremble all over. „They crept into my head through my nose, my eyes... I am blind!“
Inwardly cursing Zeke pulled him into his arms. Fuck, no! This was not fair.
