Title: In his Footsteps
The young boy sat at the table, looking over the old maps and charts, following his father's finger as the ex-adventurer traced the routes he'd taken across the world.
"What's that place called?"
"That's Celceta. That's where the giant forest is - the one that hasn't been mapped yet because no search parties they've sent ever came out again."
"Are there monsters in there?"
"Huge monsters and strange illusory magic."
"So have you ever been there?"
"I have, but I didn't get very far. I only survived because a mysterious Roo saved me."
"I saw a Roo yesterday. But everybody says it was a rabbit."
"Its very good luck to see a Roo! Bring a Roda fruit with you to feed it, next time you see it."
"You believe me, then?"
The man bent down to ruffle his son's bright red hair, "If you wrote it down in your travel journals, then its a true record of your adventure - a real adventurer never lies about something like that! You did write it down, yes?"
"Of course I did!" he puffed up his chest, "One day I'll have a whole stack of these, with adventures from all over the world!"
