He felt the jagged scar across his face and wondered what the hell had happened.
Blue roses had rained down from the sky. Nobody else had reacted to them. Everyone just fled from the drunken, ranting man with the sword. For him, the sensation had been impossibly intense, their smell intoxicating, the colours exploding into his brain, unleashing a thousand vivid memories.
It was all impossible, though. A rose's thorns wouldn't leave such a huge scar. Besides, he found no traces of them afterwards.
He vaguely remembered something, from a long time ago, about Lavian ninjas leaving messages with flowers...
