Sinking my eager teeth into all things that are spooky
An armchair ghost-hunter, yep, I guess that'd be me
Buried in so many great books about phantoms and spooks
About mean, gunned-down cowboys and old, blood-stained dukes
An ancient, haunted building I'd just love to explore
With its eerie history of fear, mystery, and gore
It just looks like the ghosts are everywhere around
The dead just do not want to stay down in the ground
Whether earth-bound or headed either for Heaven or Hell
They all have their own strange little tales they can tell
