Chaz had expected work to dry up after literally slaying a God of Darkness and preventing the destruction of the solar system. Fortunately (for a very specific, rather twisted definition of 'fortunately') there were always sandworms.
A fully grown mother Sandworm defending her nest scared him probably around equally to the Profound Darkness, and was only slightly smaller. He didn't have Wren and Rune's help either, although Rika still came with him on missions and sometimes Gryz and Hahn helped out.
He didn't think it could possibly get worse than Sandworms until the day that the King Rappy came back.
