Summary: It made my heart so very sick
See that sweet cottage over there
It may be small, but it is fair
That little place used to be mine
But I had to leave it behind
It made my heart so very sick
But life can play such odd tricks
It was hard for me to move on
Yet the memories will not be gone
To that house, so small and true
I'd like to say a "Thank you"
It gave me such a fine home
And I hate that I had to roam
My heart, though, will always be
In that small house so dear to me
