“You seem sad today,” Karone comments, watching Maya hug herself while staring out a window.
Maya turns, attempting to smile. Karone steps close, pulling Maya into a hug.
“Your feelings or someone else’s?” Karone asks.
“Mine.”
Karone pulls back, just enough to see Maya’s face.
“I know Furio didn’t destroy Mirinoi, but…”
She stops to shake her head. Karone presses a kiss against the side of her head.
“I’m so happy, here with you, fighting with my friends, being a Power Ranger, but I miss home and Kendrix.”
“I think it’s normal to feel both,” Karone offers, hugging Maya close.
