"Olivier won't be joining us for this mission," Scherezade informed the bracers with a long-suffering sigh, "He is recovering from a rather nasty fall."
"What did you guys get up to last night? I thought you were just going to a restaurant!" Estelle exclaimed.
"There was very fine wine involved. And very strong," she explained, "And lots of it. The damn fool found the veranda seating, then decided to serenade me with his lute from the balcony. Apparently that's considered romantic in Erebonia. He was good at it - up until he got maudlin and threw himself off the balcony!"
