Title: 'Night'
Fandom: Original Poetry
Characters: None
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Night must fall, as it often does.
Night must fall, as it often does. With splinters and bruises to spare.
It must, too, rise without a fuss. As though it does not care.
And who's to tell it otherwise, when Night knows its own mind?
Night never bothers to disguise the dreary days it leaves behind.
So let Night fall, and rise once more. For that is Night's own choice.
And do not stop to it implore, or to complaints give voice.
Night does what it is bound to do, and nothing matters more.
For Night does hate when it is through, and daytime is a chore.
