Will I see you soon
Under a patchwork moon
Beneath a sky of stars
Made out of old bumper cars
And will you dream of me
Beside a warm Kool-aid sea
While the sun sets in Jell-O
Speaking of things we don't know
As night wears itself away
On the sawdust that is day
And we hold each other's hand
Pretending that we understand
Everything that we do
And shall I look at you
Upon the sandalwood shores
Am I the one your heart ever adores
Or are of my hopes absurd
And will "No" be your last word
