She nodded, reaching out to take the Chancellor's hand with her own steel gauntlet. A leonine smile passed over his lips, then his eyes went hard again, matching his companion's deadly resolve. She hefted her lance in her other hand as he swung around his broadsword. Both heavy weapons traced a perfect arc in the air, a force as crushing as it was graceful in its symmetry. They complimented each other exactly, as they had done for generations - beautiful, lethal dance partners throughout history.
