Each long day, each lonely night, passes by, blurry, like gazing through a window that's been slicked with rainwater.
The years keep ticking past; through them all, Zelda almost seems to be losing count.
She wants to rest, so badly, after such a lengthy fight. The Goddesses only know when this will end.
There is nothing she can do, but to keep holding on. Without rest, without losing a shred of her will. The least bit of distraction, and the obscenity that she's been keeping at bay will break free.
She will not falter. She refuses to.
She owes Hyrule.
