There's nothing artificial about her; that much, anyone can tell readily. The trouble is that nobody knows what to think about her, apart from that.
She's aloof, keeping within a seemingly impenetrable shell. Still waters; but with a layer of ice coating them, so that nobody knows whether those waters run deep.
They don't expect her razor wit, or the way she'll toss around words that don't even smell like lies; they're honest enough to cut. And they're never sure of how much intellect hides behind her quiet eyes.
She's tricky; hard to figure.
And she likes that about herself.
