So far, every Enforcer they'd fought had some kind of personal connection to them, whether it was past history or similar personalities taking an interest in each other. Zin and Walter had history, as did Schera and Luciola. They'd been able to duel, settle their differences and tell each other the truth. Bleublanc had a perverse interest in Kloe and rivalry with Olivier. Renne and Tita appeared to be friends of a sort, and Estelle seemed to want to adopt the murderous, traumatised little girl.
It'd be Joshua's turn to face Loewe soon. He wasn't sure if he was ready.
